Hello! My name is Rebecca Vinci (she/her). In a world often marked by societal pressure, adversity, and judgment, I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental. My goal is for clients to feel respected, validated, heard, and genuinely supported. Depending on your goals, therapy can also serve as a space to explore new perspectives, deepen self-awareness, and support meaningful personal growth.
My approach is grounded in empathy and warmth. I work from a strengths-based, Narrative, Client-Centered foundation, while integrating elements of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). While I welcome clients facing a broad range of concerns, my specific areas of interest include depression, Anxiety, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, and relationship issues or family dynamics, including couples therapy.
My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Buddhism from the University of Toronto, a Master’s in Medical Ethics from Memorial University (Thesis in progress), and current graduate studies in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
