My name is Jennifer (she/her), and I am proud to be an intern counselling therapist at Couch of Hope. I completed my BA in Psychology at the University of Calgary, and I am currently completing my Masters of Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I am also a proud member of a volunteer crisis response team for children and teens.
Through my own life experiences and those of my family, I have come to recognize the importance of robust mental health. My areas of interest include difficulties with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. I am drawn to person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused modalities, and I will work with you to find the best method to meet your unique needs.
Reaching out in times of difficulty takes great courage, and it would be my honour to support you on your journey. I am dedicated to providing a safe, nonjudgemental environment with empathy, compassion, and understanding. I would like to walk with you on as we move toward improved well-being, greater inner strength, and a better understanding of yourself.
