Intern

Natalie Williams

Counselling Therapist Intern

Hi, I’m Natalie Williams (She/Her) and I’m excited to be part of the counselling intern team at Couch of HOPE. I’m currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University after working with nonprofits for 15 years.

I spent my career supporting families across Canada who represented many unique corners of human experience: neurodivergent parents and students, parents struggling with work and finances, newcomers to Canada, children from intercultural families, professionals and volunteers balancing a passion for community with work and family life, students and adults working to integrate their spiritual or religious beliefs in cross-cultural settings, caregivers of all ages and life stages, and older adults navigating a changing world. I’m fascinated by the diversity of human challenge and thriving, and believe deeply in the power of community and connection.

I’m here to help you explore your challenges and uncover your strengths in a comfortable, safe, person-centred environment that honours the complexity of your growth and experience. We’ll collaborate to better understand your goals, needs, and losses, and we’ll explore the stories you tell yourself to make sense of your experiences.

When I’m not in the office, I still partner with non-profits remotely and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors or in the kitchen.
